For those of us who consistently read the New York Times, or for anyone who has randomly read any of the opinion columns in the paper, we are familiar with Gail Collins’ witty and sarcastic articles.
5 Facts That Make Her Amazing:
1. Became the first woman editor of the Time’s editorial page in 2001.
2. Wrote a book called “When Everything Changed: The Amazing Journey of American Woman from 1960 to the Present.”
3. Founded the Connecticut State News Bureau which became the largest news service of its kind in the counrty.
4. Gets paid to poke fun at a lot of people who hold a lot of power, and can do this without getting into trouble.
5. Her writing is just awesome.
